This Apple Mouth Race Snaffle bit has much larger, 3.5″/90mm diameter, rings than normal snaffles. This helps prevent the bit from being pulled through the horses mouth. Another advantage is that it can help to steer the horse by bringing pressure on the side of the face. The Apple Mouth gives a softer, warmer feel in the mouth.
It has a Stainless Steel core & rings.
