Dexter Racing Bit

The Dexter bit is widely used in racing as it is useful with strong fit horse. The large ring can be used for leading a horse whilst it is tacked up. The jointed feature gives a nutcracker action, but this is limited due to the attachment onto the larger ring. The extended cheeks help to improve steering and also reduce the risk of the bit being pulled through the horses mouth.
